Do Ya Wonder???...4/29

I had noted a response to a comment (I made) on another blog a bit ago, it was kind of a cheap shot, but hey, I'm a big guy, I can take it...and then I got curious.... So I did follow back on the URL that was supposedly from the responder, and lo and behold, the blog was three topic lines, no input from the blogger, and no comments...and started on the first of March--the day the responding comment was made. Darn, do you get the impression that Essent was trying a dis-information campaign?

The following is the last comment I made in that thread, with the shot that the other commenter made in quotes:

"Frank Pasquale's ideas may be good but his delivery cheapens them. He is too personal. I went to his blog about a hospital in Paris TX- but it is really about his feelings for the CEO. Must have been a romance gone bad which is better left to blogs of a different ilk than hospitals."

Interesting speculation, but this was the company that was being sued by a gay couple in MA for denial of healthcare benefits.

Sensationalism sells, bunky. One can write an article that is factual, to the point, and nothing left out...and no one reads it. The same article put in the perspective of the public persona generates identification. That is what generates readership.

Does it cheapen the message? Possibly, but if no one hears the message, what value does it have to cheapen?

By the way, Essent withdrew from their last attempt in Hammonton, NJ.
That's three....

But, here is the thing: Could he be planting a false trail? We know that Dick is spending an awful lot of time in Nashville...as Hud's houseguest...and Hud is divorced.... Makes you wonder if the commenter hit closer to the mark than he intended--and the boss said cool it! But, that's just idle speculation....

Either way, it makes no difference to me, I'm not a homophobe. But if the comment was too close to the mark, it could project some interesting connotations to the Essent structure, and cause speculation about the past and recent firings within the walls of corporate headquarters...and it could explain the abrupt silence from "Leon".

D##n Frank, you may have just called it! Nashville's own broke-back mountain! Switch-hitting!

How many women work at corporate???

As a straight male, I'm not too concerned with the nightttime activities or sexual proclivities of the Essent execs, or anybody else.

Be they gay or straight, they're still soulless b******s.

More tail-twisting:
Received an email directing me to a directory. Found an email that could have been from Hud to Dickie. This was dated right after the "...Priceless..." post, so maybe they are feeling the heat.

Richard,

I’ve been picking up some chatter lately and I can’t brush it aside any more. We’ve got a battle on our hands and I need you to be focused on the task.

I need you to carefully consider PRMC’s image in all you do. But it’s especially important now during this delicate time. Whether it’s Holly Peters or looking for a Porsche, do all you can to get rid of the distractions.

I also still need to get some April dates from you re. TCB’s questions. Call me this afternoon between 2 and 4.

Hud

Guess Hud doesn't like the color of Dickie's Porsche...frank

porsche stay at the hampton inn on the backside, so the public don't see porsche. eyes are everywhere and watching.

I figure the email is a plant, doesn't feel like his wording, plus the dates don't line up. Holly's appearance on the scene wasn't until the 20th...4 days earlier.

Additionally, there was an executable file in the same directory--which, considering Hud's proclivity for spyware, probably has a keylogger or a pinger. Sorry guys, ain't happening.....

" I need you to carefully consider PRMC’s image in all you do." And attacking members of the community is not the way to win over this town! The people who live here, pay taxes here, and MIGHT seek care from PRMC are not people you should be trying to blackmail and get fired from their jobs.....
Not a good way to get community support, for such a smart man, you are making some very childish and foolish mistakes

Speaking of ruining PRMC's image...it only takes a few rotten people to do it.

Seems like a lady went into ICU at noon on Monday to visit a family friend...she only saw a "few patients in the rooms and 2 male nurses, both nurses had treated her well on previous visits. She then went up to the Unit Secretary, to ask for the nurse taking care of her friend.

She describes the US as "rude, chomping on ice while giving her only one word responses to her questions, and looking like a sloppy teenager." (She also said it was "Shirley")

After trying several times to find out where her friend's nurse was, she finally asked the US if she was at lunch, the US told her rudely "no, we're just really short staffed today, she's probably having to help in another room."

The impressions she told me that she got from this experience were
(these are her words, not mine!)

1. Not many people are using PRMC's ICU...probably due to short staffing.

2. Short staffing in critical areas.

3. Rude, incompetant staff allowed in critical care areas.

4. Short staffing...this really bothered her alot!

5. She definately was NOT bringing any family members to be admitted to PRMC.

Even though I apologized several times to her, it was very clear that ONE nasty employee had given her an image that obliterated any of the good people she met while at PRMC.

Problem is, I know the employee she's referring to...this is just one of MANY similar episodes with both staff, patients and family members. It's clear that PRMC admin lets the competant, professional staff go...but someone like this gets to stay to embarrass us another day!!

Guess Hud can't get Dick off his mind. Or he cant get Dick out of his system I could go on....

The ICU at PRMC is an excellent place to be cared for. These people that you all are "bashing" are good hard working people that spend their days and nights caring for sick people, and trying to keep a corp. running. Do you expect hospital care to be free? I hate to tell you, but it's NOT!! ALL of administration at PRMC work hard to make it a great hospital and a great place to work!!!

I suppose that everyone has to feel moral in their decisions...the SS had to feel justified, or go insane. However, rationalization only goes so far.

Administration can say the sky is green, but we do know differently...

At last, a Hud-apologist comes slithering out of the woodwork. Totally wrong about the administrators (must be one herself, or a hiney-kissing wannabe).................

6:29, try pulling your head out & getting a clear picture of the world around you for once.

"The ICU at PRMC is an excellent place to be cared for."

You mean WAS.....

"These people that you all are "bashing" are good hard working people that spend their days and nights caring for sick people, and trying to keep a corp. running."

If you mean employees, you're wrong- we don't bash the poor souls still working there, with the exception of those who display poor customer service as was described in a previous post. As for the administrators, they deserve all the crap we give them, from Big Dick to Cheryl down to anybody else who thinks Essent is God;s gift to medicine
" Do you expect hospital care to be free? I hate to tell you, but it's NOT!!"

No s***, Sherlock......that isn't a point of argument.

" ALL of administration at PRMC work hard to make it a great hospital and a great place to work!!!"

How big of a bonus did Big Dick promise you, Cheryl? C'mon, don't be shy, you can tell us.....

Perhaps the department heads work hard to make things work, but certainly not the muckety-mucks in the front office- don't tell us otherwise.

The post made by the Essent appologist sounds like the individual was trying harder to convince him/her-self than the rest of us.Is this some vairiant of the Stockholm Syndrome?
We know the nurses, and the nurses know each other, and we all know the Corporate goons; we have the picture clearly in our heads;we know who works and why.PHALEEZE spare us the drama!

6:29 are you getting paid by the word for all that garbage you're writing? The truth will set you free!

I agree. The problem is this places worst employees are adminitrators.
