The drain is swirling, and that's where Essent seems headed. New AHD figures are out, and Paris went from a net of $1.6M to $288,275. The gross was more, but I guess efficiency isn't their forte.
"But", you might say, "didn't we have $14.4M more that we didn't spend on RRVR???" Unless, gasp, Hud was a Liar??????? No, say it isn't so........
One might think that Hud might be juggling as fast as he can. If revenue is down, how is he keeping investors happy? Well, they aren't happy, but somewhat pacified by being told that the updates, building program, and personnel changes are to blame for the shortfall. Damn, wonder if he used that excuse for Crossroads????
So much for his 10-15% ROI......

Here's a novel concept- perhaps revenues may just possibly be down because (hold on now):
NOBODY IS USING THE ESSENT FACILITIES FOR THEIR HEALTH CARE!
We concumers may be called many things, most of them unflattering, but at the end of the day we aren't fools. If we aren't satisfied by the product offered us, we will eventually seek a better version of the same product elsewhere. If service is not up to par; if the philosophy of the ownership runs counter to what we expect, we'll eventually take our business elsewhere.
Works in retail businesses, restaurants, most manufactured goods, and hospitals.
Cutting staff to save costs is like amputating limbs to save the patient- eventually you'll run out of arms, legs, or staff willing to deal with the crap disguised as good policy.
Arcon II- coming to a bankruptcy court near you.
Frank- you mentioned how "well" PRMC did. What's the report from the other facilities?
If PRMC is supposed to be the big-time cash cow, I'd say the udders done dried up.
Actually, the figures posted for the other hospitals haven't changed. PRMC's have.
So much for being the showcase....frank
Well, the axe is partially down at the Wellness Centers. New hours starting Monday are as follows.
Mon thru Thur 5:30a.m. to 8:00p.m.
Fri 5:30a.m. to 7:00p.m.
Saturday 8:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.
Sunday 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
Many of the staff there have been told of their new schedules and some cuts have been made.
I heard people received their walking papers the last couple of days. What ever happened to the 2 week notice you had to give? Seems like they cutt that back to less than a week for the employees to go hunt for jobs. Hope people give back to A$$ENT what they deserve, and then some!!!!!!!
I hope all the miserable working employees left here at PRMC give HUD THE DUD "THE BIG DICK," MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
It's been just over a year since RRVR left the hospital. With the evil radiology group gone, has radiology turned around? Has the hospital gotten better? Is it more profitable? From what's said, no.
Guess Essent shot itself in the foot on that one.
About the Wellness Center...What about the day shift employees who paid for memberships?
This will limit the times that they can use them.
Are they planning on refunding the memberships since they just made it quite inconvenient for some to use?
Hey Essent, get a clue! First hint that you're running a piss poor facility, when the employees who got laid off are giving each other high fives because they're actually HAPPY that they're the lucky ones that get to leave this joint. Hey Cheryl, what's the quickest way to get to the unemployment office????
Concerning 8:02 comment. Evidently the back lash from the morning hours has created a rethink situation. The opening week day hours I believe are remaining the same for now. 5:00 a.m. opening.
Evidently there was a luncheon with Richard Salerno on the 28th.
Attending were those randomly selected and were asked questions and opinions. Imagine that! There was, I think one or so employees from each department that were selected to attend. One of the questions was a yes or no. Does your direct department supervisor/director give you the support you need. Would have been interesting to be a fly on the wall in that meeting, and no C.P. was not in attendance.

Ah, the double edged sword question. Does your supervisior give you the support that you need?
That's like your wife asking you, do these pants make me look fat?
TO COMMENT ON THE WELLNESS CENTERS...DO YOU THINK THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE CUTTING THE HOURS AND DOING AWAY WITH TOWELS THEY ARE GOING TO REDUCE MEMBERSHIP COSTS...YEA RIGHT, I DONT THINK SO. ALL THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT IS MAKING A DOLLAR. FORGET PROVIDING A RESPECTABLE SERVICE. ONE OF THE ONLY GYMS IN TOWN, NOT THAT IT WAS A JEWEL TO BEGIN WITH, IS GOING DOWN THE DRAIN, FAST. ANY SMART PERSON WITH THE CAPABILITY WOULD OPEN A REAL GYM AND LEAVE THE WELLNESS CENTERS IN THE DUST.
This is the real meaning for the Commie leader's name;
H - ospital
U - nity
D - estroyer
Get rid of him before he nukes the whole place!!!
