Just thought I'd give you an update on who actually tries to find this site, rather than stumbling into it (from what I consider outside the norm):
- I've had hits from India, the Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, Italy, Austrailia, China, Iran, the UAR, and even one from Vietnam, but that was a fluke. And either someone has been sending links, or one individual has been bouncing off multiple international servers...because the MSN search is exactly the same for about five countries.
- Numerous mentions have been seen in Power Point presentations given in the Netherlands, Norway, and Germany....
- Various healthcare groups from all over the nation.
- Investment companies.
- Healthcare Management groups.
- Obviously, the highest percentage of hits are from Texas, Tennessee, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, but I was suprised at the high numbers for North Carolina, New Jersey (probably the new CEO for MVH and his family), Minnesota, Florida (not just Andrew's defender), and D.C.
- The Dallas hospitals love it, the Essent states camp on it after hours, and I don't know how many people have Google alerts for new comments.
- A chat room would probably lock up someone's server.

Perhaps Essents' true niche is in "How Not To" training literature and films. And we wonder why this blog has such avid readers?!?!?! Buffoonery does have its draw.
And there are many waiting on the sidelines to give resounding applause at the end of the play!
By the way, one of the largest draws to the site was the picture of the girl in leather, holding the sign about whipping...kind of shows a bit of the S&M in health care, eh what?...frank
So, now the Administration is going to fire anyone saying anything negative about the hospital. Sounds like they are denying employes their 1st amendment rights to free speech. Wonder if their corporate attorneys are aware of this policy.
Most likely the corporate attorneys are in cahoots, so BOHICA, friends & neighbors!
Here's what I would like to know:
Do they openly talk about the-Paris-Site in the executive offices of PRMC, E$$ent? or Do they just kind of hope it will go away and ignore it yet individually monitor it?
Do they have a strategy for dealing with the blog? Have they hired a thug to do Frank in?
My thought would be if I were E$$ent, that the best defense is a good offense, but I haven't seen anything from their standpoint that counters the blog, except for firing anyone who opposes them. I simply don't think that they have the energy/willpower/motivation/stamina to put forth ANY type of positive image. I truly think that starting and maintaining a blog that promotes a positive image for E$$ent or explains some of their decisions is beyond their capability.

Corporate gets their notification by email from the various hospitals, if they see it before Hud goes ballistic....frank
I don't give a rat's fuzzy hind end if Hud goes ballistic over this blog- hell- I hope he has a freakin' stroke!
The more I read this blog, the more grateful I too am no longer an employee, and also the more sad I feel for good friends who still are, and have put their entire lives into working for both facilities pre-Christus.
Fire anyone who says anything negative about Essent. Oh yeah, that's choice folks! Wonder if they'll apply the same technique to patients as well? Do they have spys at the local coffee shops? They'd do well to do so, they might just find that Paris, as a whole, detests what they've done here.
Somewhere it has been said, that your actions bring about your own brand of problems. Nuff said!
Scott Adams, the creator of the cartoon strip "Dilbert", must be getting the ideas for his hilarious look at corporate "life" from how E$$ent does things. Which may explain the quote "The beatings will continue until morale improves".
With Texas being a right-to-work state, and the number of folks who are deeply rooted in Paris and are still employed at PRMC, E$$ent obviously thinks that bludgeoning brings obedience. ANd they apparently believe that any wrongful-termination lawsuit brought against them would be tossed out of court in Texas.
So where are the defenders of these policies? Have they not the cojones to post & explain themselves?
