Can you say "HAPPY FEET?"

Now if the scarecrow could only get a brain...rather than golf clubs....

Apparently back on track. On to Oz!

I hear the wicked witch is looking for work in Paris. Claims she likes it here........or could it be she bit off a huge mortage for a big house and has to stay.

I think she should apply at the imaging center. I believe they would welcome her and her talent with open arms (Colt.45 comes to mind).

Hey, Bev! There is an opening at Wal-Mart as the Greeter. With your bubbly personality, you're perfect for minimum wage.

Just remember, Bev: What goes around, comes around!

Heard she's applying for the PJC clinical coordinator spot in the XRAY program. That's interesting--hasn't she missed the last 8 clinical review classes?

Talk about Ms Reliable...just what's needed for a brand-new program!

What, did someone throw water on Cheryl? Or is it really Catbert, the evil HR director, in disguise?

Haven't figured out if this is a Dilbert cartoon, or Oz, yet.

Heck, it might be Stargate, and Hud is really the Ori.

Rumor is Bev got the boot because she was ripping off the company via time--as you know salaried positions get paid for 40hrs regardless of the time they actually work--be it 10hrs or 100hrs....and we all know managers don't hesitate to come in a bit late or leave a bit early--very common...seems Bev tho was taking it to new heights...could be why the dept never saw her--she wasn't there. Seems someone tattled on her....

Gee, if she was splitting out early, and missing to teach at PJC, when did she have time to answer all her voicemails?

And this is the person that they are considering for a permanent PJC clinical coordinator? Maybe she could cut out of clinicals to shoot x-rays for a mobile service....

Apparently Bev's NOT making many new friends at PJC as well, seems with her usual aplomb and public relations skills, she has managed to set several set of teeth at PJC on edge. And we thought (those of us that had the displeasure to endure her tactics) we were the only ones to listen to that prattle. Methinks she has burnt some bridges, wonder if the Tyler folks ("...all I have to do is make a phone call, and snap, poof, they'll welcome me back with open arms.")are clamoring for her return. My guess is NOT!

OMG!!!!! the damn yankee is gone, please, please tell me your not kidding, that B%$#@ deserves to go. she is one of the main reasons i left paris. apparently calling and yelling at her employees was her way of handling business. so i wonder why all the sudden is essent taking out the trash and who do they expect to these peoples place. i guess they'll be ropin poor connie in take over yet another job, or maybe they'll get some other idiot to come in. i really hope though that maybe essent is cleaning up its act and maybe the hospital can start getting better. im calling everyone i know this is like the best new ever i love it!!!!!

Okey, dokey, sooooooo Andrew is handing out pink slips like non-winning lotto tickets. I have to ask, what is this smoke screen hiding? Granted these firings are to be celebrated, and am sure that there are several more wretched managers/directors that need the axe as well, but, what are Hud & Bud up to these days. Been pretty quiet with this duo of late. Personally, cake crumbs are a tease, I prefer the whole cake.........like Essent limping from Paris like the cur dog that it is!

I'm really surprized that no one has mentioned this: Obviously Bev and Cecilia were not going in the same direction as PRMC....

Seriously tho...Paloma has the Running of the Bulls and PRMC has the Firing of the Scapegoats. See, this way, Sir Andrew can say it was all Bev/Cecilia/Whomever's fault and they won't be there to defend themselves. (Don't worry, Bev! Andy can lie as well as you!)Next few weeks should be verrra interesting....

Speaking of departures (and dead witches)...where is Dr. Haas? Is it true he's no longer with RRVR?

Anonymous said...

Greener pastures for Dr Haas, I hear! Who would want to stay in Paris? Phill C. has been in Chile for years! And he's the president of RRVR! Others living in Paris work part time at best. Maybe they know something we don't? Medicare cuts for imaging centers could bode very badly for RRVR. Especially with the majority of 65+ and no pay patients in their service area. The Tarrant county radiology group in DFW (60+ radiologists) is already imploding; some docs who have been there 22+ years are leaving; and they have 15 imaging centers in addition to several hospitals! Accelerated depreciation can be a killer!

Kind of funny, I suppose. I waited at PRMC for my evaluation and got a sixty-cent raise (18 months over due.) I've been at Greenville about two months and got a $2 raise! Man, I really was going in the wrong direction. I'm glad Bice pointed that out!

Seriously, the difference in attitudes between the hospitals is staggering: I was my typically critical self about a presentation--and they thanked me for the input...in person!

They have a building program that just doesn't put LCD TVs in the rooms, this is for an expanded ER and X-RAY, and are currently working on the surgical center.

The AGFA PACS is good, and the purchase of the latest major upgrade was just approved by the board (which actually makes decisions, not rubber-stamps, like this one.)

Two of my former co-workers kept encouraging me to apply down there for years--I guess I was just afraid of change. Change is Good! And I get to see a lot of former PRMC folks that I used to work with. As eBay feedback goes, AAAAAAA+++++++

BTW the caption for the first pic should be: "And she is not just merely dead, she is most sincerely dead!"

Myself? I am waiting over the rainbow. The new CR system went blitz yesterday. Haven't had it a month. Looks like may have some lemons....Sure the new PR firm will tell us to make Lemonade.

Their PR firm is Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock Inc. (as of January), which was formed in Jan. Maybe they finally got their own office space....

They of course, have their own website, and it's pretty neat. Since they've had the last seven months to work on PRMC, where has the money gone?

The last firm I worked with was BJK&E out of Los Colinas, but that shows you how long I've been out of the business...they were acquired about 10 years ago by True North.

Perhaps JPC&H are having some difficulty finding something worthwhile........errrr truthful to work with???

Where does the job description of PACS Administrator have "Sleep with the Boss" as a requirement? See, William, all you did was play golf....
